Step 1: We use tools and 3M abrasives to eliminate all damage and shape the repaired area to blend seamlessly with the rest of the wheel. Starting with surface conditioning discs and progressing to 1000-grit wet sandpaper ensures there are no distinguishable repair marks once paint and clear-coat are applied. If there was very serious damage, there might be contour variation.
Step 2: We clean the wheel’s surface, eliminating any dust, wax, or other form of residue. Then, we carefully tape off the tire, brakes, calipers, and lug nuts to prevent overspray. Finally, we apply an adhesion promoter to enhance the durability of the paint and ensure a strong bond with the prepared surface.
Step 3: We use high-quality airbrushes and spray guns to apply OEM paints and clear coats. Our clear coats feature UV protectants to maintain a durable finish that resists discoloration over time. These meticulous steps result in 90-95% OEM paint match results.
